A large group of lawyers has teamed together to create a specialized trial law firm made up of 25 lawyers that concentrates on litigation and bankruptcy litigation. The firm will be named Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine, P.L., and will be known as Kluger Kaplan.

We've always been quick to respond to market shifts and are again ahead of the curve in addressing and embracing this new business model."

Two of KPKB's name partners, Howard Berlin and Steven Peretz, have moved on to focus on their own niche practices.

Berlin, who specializes in bankruptcy law, has joined the law firm of Berger Singerman. Berlin was with KPKB for more than 20 years. Partner Deborah Talenfeld has joined Berlin at Berger Singerman.

Peretz has formed a specialized boutique Intellectual Property firm called Peretz Chesal and Herrmann, PL., with partners Michael Chesal and Leora Herrmann. Senior attorney Paul Kobak has also joined the firm. The practice resides in office space adjacent to Kluger Kaplan.

The attorneys of Peretz Chesal and Herrmann, along with support staff, also remain at the 17th floor of the Miami Center and can be reached at (305) 341-3000.

Kluger Peretz Kaplan & Berlin was founded in 1987 with seven attorneys as an innovative and agile law firm dedicated primarily to providing top-tier legal service on a nationwide basis.
