LONDON—A well-known American equity trading-house, whose name had been hijacked by a British Internet pornography operation that redirected their website visitors to porn sites, won an injunction and a $1 million judgment against the UK company in U.S. courts, thanks to the efforts of their Miami-based law firm KPKB.
On the equity company’s behalf, KPKB sued the British operation and the U.S. company that had benefited from click-throughs to their porn site.
The British company had regularly taken the names of well-known businesses and used them in porn-site redirection schemes.
