Dale S. Bergman Awarded Samuel Scheck Hillel Community Day School's President's Award for Pro-Bono Work

MIAMI - June 28, 2004 - Dale S. Bergman, an attorney with the leading Florida-based law firm of Kluger, Peretz, Kaplan & Berlin P.L, has been awarded with Samuel Scheck Hillel Community Day School's President's Award. Presented to a leader within South Florida that selflessly devotes their time to the school, Bergman was recognized for his pro-bono work and successful resolution of legal issues, which allowed for Hillel to more strategically allocate its financial resources to benefit the community.

"While it is truly an honor to be recognized for work, its even more rewarding to make a difference in our community," said Bergman. "I hope that in some small way, the work I do will help in the continued education and spiritual growth of our children."

As an attorney in the firm's Business & Real Estate Transactions Group, Bergman focuses his practice at Kluger, Peretz, Kaplan & Berlin on advising clients on a wide variety of corporate and securities matters, including: negotiating joint ventures, strategic alliances, leveraged buyouts, loan agreements, partnership agreements and other commercial transactions. In the securities field, Bergman represents investment bankers in private and public securities offerings, venture capitalists and investment firms in minority investments, public companies in ongoing SEC compliance and boards of directors and board committees in fulfilling their legal and fiduciary obligations.

Bergman earned his A.B. in history from Columbia University, cum laude, and his J.D. from Harvard Law School, also cum laude. He is admitted to practice in Florida and New York.
