MIAMI LAW FIRM JOINS FORCES WITH HUNGER RELIEF GROUP
When hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf coast in September of 2005, the whole world looked on in shock. The attorneys and staff of KPKB quickly mobilized a fundraising drive which resulted in a 100% particpation rate which totaled $14,000.00. The firm chose to donate the funds to America's Second Harvest.
“I am proud of everyone at Kluger, Peretz, Kaplan and Berlin and their readiness to donate to the communities that suffered so much following Hurricane Katrina,” said Howard Berlin, Managing Director of Kluger, Peretz, Kaplan & Berlin. “As a result of our contribution, food and grocery items will continue to be distributed to those who so desperately need it.”
Since August 29th, America’s Second Harvest has dispatched nearly 1,100 truckloads filled with more than 34.3 million pounds of food and grocery products, which equates to nearly 28 million meals.
