BOCA RATON – March 14, 2006 – Kluger Peretz Kaplan & Berlin, P.L., (KPKB) one of Florida’s leading law firms, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its Boca Raton office, located in the Peninsula Executive Center at 2385 NW Executive Center Drive. The firm’s attorneys specialize in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, bankruptcy and creditor’s rights, intellectual property, and corporate and real estate transactions. Its founding members have been practicing together for nearly twenty years.
“Boca Raton is one of the fastest growing business centers in South Florida, particularly for companies and entrepreneurs in the financial services and real estate industries,” said Stuart Silver, a KPKB Partner and Director of its Boca Raton Office. “Our South Palm Beach County location enhances our ability to provide transactional and litigation services to clients in their back yard.”
Two lawyers launched the firm’s temporary facilities in Boca Raton in August 2005. Today, five KPKB attorneys live and practice law in Boca Raton. The firm has already leased expansion space, which it expects to occupy in 2007, in order to accommodate more than twenty lawyers and administrative assistants.
Silver noted that KPKB specifically developed the Boca Raton location to mirror its Miami office both in terms of its resources and its areas of practice. “The Boca Raton office has performed exceptionally well, greatly exceeding our projected revenue and business development estimates,” said Silver. “We expect this growth to continue as we identify talented lawyers in this community who seek to benefit from the skills and resources which KPKB can provide to their clients.”
The following attorneys are currently servicing their clients in KPKB’s Boca office:
James Ferrara combines his “hands-on” construction experience and his legal know-how to resolve the issues affecting the interests of developers, contractors, sub contractors, unit owners, condominium and homeowner associations and land owners. As part of his commercial litigation practice, Jim also handles litigation related to real estate transactions, shareholder disputes and general contractual matters.
Jonathan Louis has an extensive background in servicing all of the legal needs of corporations with a breadth of knowledge and experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations and debt and equity offerings. Jonathan’s practice also includes the representation of clients in their purchase, sale and lease of residential and commercial real estate. Actively involved in the local community, Jonathan serves as a board member of the South Palm Beach County Jewish Federation and co-chair of the young adult division of the South Palm Beach County Jewish Federation.
Terri Meyers focuses her practice on resolving and litigating all types of business disputes including construction, intellectual property, music related issues and general business disputes. In her construction practice, Terri regularly represents real estate developers and builders in various disputes that arise on their projects.
