The Daily Business Review quoted Andrew Gold in an article regarding forclosure proceedings against Avior Technologies after former Jet's owner Michael Nearing was unable to make payments on his 1978 Cessna Citation 550 II jet aircraft. According to the article, lenders Gibraltar and Textron Financial obtained summary judgement while Nearing filed a third-party complaint. It also stated that Nearing could not afford to keep the jet because Cessna failed to properly evaluate and repair it.
