Kluger Peretz Kaplan & Berlin Expands Litigation and Transaction Practices with Addition of Attorneys

MIAMI
– October 2007 – The leading Florida-based law firm of Kluger Peretz Kaplan & Berlin P.L. announces that attorneys JUSTIN B. KAPLAN and AMY K. BROWN, practicing in litigation and dispute resolution, and JAMIE M. COCO, practicing in the area of business and real estate transaction, have joined the firm’s Miami office.

“We are pleased to welcome these three talented attorneys,” said Howard Berlin, managing partner of Kluger, Peretz, Kaplan & Berlin. “Their addition to our practice will allow us to better serve our clients in both litigation and transactional matters.” 


KAPLAN will focus on litigation and dispute resolution concentrating in labor and employment law, business torts, real estate, and commercial litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Kaplan served as a litigator where he gained experience in class actions, personal injury and complex commercial litigation. Kaplan holds a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Florida. Kaplan’s professional affiliations include the Dade County Bar Association, American Bar Association, University of Florida Alumni Association, and University of Miami Alumni Association.

BROWN will focus on commercial litigation handling matters related to contracts, negligence, and general business disputes. Formerly with Miles & Stockbridge, P.C. in Baltimore Maryland, Eroh holds a J.D. with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law where she was awarded the William P. Cunningham Award.  Eroh is a member of the Florida Bar, Maryland Bar, and the Young Lawyers Division of the Dade County Bar Association.

COCO will practice in the firm’s business and real estate transaction department focusing on residential and commercial real estate matters particularly those related to acquisitions and structuring investment and financing.  Prior to joining Kluger Peretz, Coco practiced law in Aventura, Florida. She holds a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.A. from Florida State University where she was named to the Deans List. Her involvement in the community includes service as a member of the Big Brother Big Sister Association and the Miami Light Project. Coco is a member of the Florida Bar, American Bar Association, and the Volunteer Income Tax Association.
