“I represent business men and women. By urging them to tell me their goals and desires, I can use my thirty-years of experience to design a strategy and game plan. The marriage of a litigation strategy and business common sense allows me to successfully and efficiently work my clients’ plan. They come to me because I can achieve the results they reasonably expect, and they know I take their problems personally and care about them."
--Alan J. Kluger, Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Alan is principally engaged as a trial lawyer for public and private companies such as financial institutions, real estate holding corporations, and portfolio companies of national private equity groups. He also represents individuals in matrimonial and family legal issues including will contests and international disputes. Sports and entertainment personalities retain Alan to handle contract negotiations, disputes, and other highly confidential proceedings.
“I love the practice of trial work. By an honest and early assessment, I can often save my clients unnecessary expense and heartache. That’s the personal reward of my chosen profession of trial lawyer.”
Alan is continually recognized for his thorough approach to solving legal challenges. For example in professional liability prosecutions he has been instrumental in achieving several seven and eight figure settlements or verdicts, and in matters related to the United States Government's savings and loan asset recovery program he was engaged to recover hundreds of millions of dollars for the Trustees in the largest bank failure in the world, BCCI, and South Florida's then-largest bank failure, CenTrust.

From Alan’s Case Files
Putting Together a Winning Team: "When a nationally known and highly respected private equity group came to our firm with a serious “bet the company” case, I put together a litigation team, a legal strategy, and a public relations team to get out front on a potentially damaging issue. By creating the public storyline and a carefully planned litigation strategy, we were able to force the corporate sellers to settle early for a significant public victory. This client now consults with me early and often. Their business strategy now avoids such litigation from occurring. That is what we do."
The Value of Perspective: A likely personal injury tort against a major automobile tire manufacturer became a successful major consumer class action following a creative analysis of the facts. Looking at the facts from the business perspective, I was able to identify the critical underlying cause. It became obvious to file the law suit under the Unfair & Deceptive Trade Practice Act. The defendant then settled with the class prior to trial.
The Power of Community: Alan brings the same passion he takes to the court room into his community. Of particular note, in 1993, Alan and his wife, Judge Amy Dean, created a private foundation for the Dean-Kluger Judaic Collection. The Foundation's initial assets consisted of over seventy Jewish charity boxes dating as far back as 1679 that represent the charitable institutions of former Jewish communities around the world including Damascus, Syria, Baghdad, Iraq, Alexandria, Egypt, Calcutta, India, Salonika, and Morocco . The Collection is currently being liquidated and the proceeds used to meet the charitable goals of the Foundation.
