“My trustee clients know that, as both a trustee and an attorney, I understand their practices and concerns from the inside out and will always be one step ahead of their needs.”

--Deborah Talenfeld, Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights

**

Deborah represents both debtors and creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. Liquidating trustees, post-confirmation trustees, and trustees in cases filed under the Securities and Investors Protection Act call upon Deborah’s experience.

In 2003, Deborah was appointed to the panel of trustees who administer cases filed under chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code in the Southern District of Florida. As a trustee, she administers the assets of both corporate and individual debtors seeking protection under Chapter 7 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. These duties include the prosecution of bankruptcy-related litigation, the analysis of creditor claims and, where appropriate, making distributions to creditors from the numerous estates under her administration.

“I enjoy interacting with clients and finding creative solutions to their problems.”

From Deborah’s Case Files

Helping Uncover Fraud:  In unfurling the complex fraud committed by the debtor's principal in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy case, I assisted in the return of millions of dollars to creditors and the ultimate imprisonment of the individual responsible for the fraud.
