“Trustees rely upon my ability to find a debtor's assets and maximize recovery for the benefit of the debtor's estate. I act as their security blanket, ensuring that their cases have been properly reviewed and administered to the fullest extent allowed under the Bankruptcy Code.”

--Eyal Berger, Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights

Since becoming a member of the Florida Bar Eyal has devoted his practice to the representation of creditors' committees, Chapter 7 trustees, liquidating Chapter 11 trustees, and debtors and creditors in matters concerning all manner of tangible and intangible property.

“My inspiration in becoming a bankruptcy attorney has always been the idea that I can help people on all sides of a bankruptcy equation negotiate, settle, and reorganize complex business transactions for everyone’s benefit. When I can help all the parties involved feel as if they’ve left the process in a better position than when they started, I know I made the right career choice.”

Eyal gained first hand appreciation for the U.S. judicial system while serving as Judicial Clerk Extern to the Honorable Michael G. Williamson, Bankruptcy Judge and the Honorable Paul M. Glenn, Chief Bankruptcy Judge, Middle District of Florida. A certified county court mediator, Eyal is licensed to mediate any civil dispute under $15,000.

Eyal is a former, two-term Executive Managing Editor for the Florida Journal of International Law and the author of Putting Florida Buyers on Par with International Buyers: A Cost-Benefit Analysis of Revising Florida Statute 675.109(1)(A)(4),16 Fla. J. Int'l L. 529.

Born in Rehovot, Israel, Eyal grew up in Israel and is fluent in Hebrew.
