“My clients like and respect my honesty.  They know that I’ll zealously advocate on their behalf but also know that I’ll do so within the bounds of professional standards. In short, they trust me and appreciate my perspective.”

--Stuart R. Silver, Litigation and Dispute Resolution

A veteran litigator, Stuart brings his significant legal skills to the courtroom on behalf of his clients in cases ranging from products liability, medical negligence, and complex personal injury matters to multi-million dollar business disputes and class actions. He has helped numerous clients win multi-million dollar recoveries in cases of wrong-doing.  He's been a legal commentator for the broadcast media and an outspoken advocate on child safety issues. He is regularly appointed by the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court to serve as a Guardian ad Litem to protect the legal interest of minor children.

“My clients are often the proverbial David's who've been victimized by Goliaths.  My practice is far more than a way to earn a living; it’s provided me with the wherewithal to hold wrongdoers accountable, to improve the quality of life for many, and to inform and warn the public of hidden dangers.”

Among the many results he achieved for his clients throughout his career, a few stand out among the rest. Stuart advocated on behalf of a client before the Florida Supreme Court which resulted in a change in Florida law. Stuart is recognized by his peers as among the best, he is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and serves as administrative partner for Kluger Peretz Kaplan & Berlin.

From Stuart’s Case Files

Winning Against Ford:  In a commercial negligence case I recovered substantial damages for my client, a leading Miami financial institution, from Ford Motor Company.  Through a series of battles in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan I forced General Motors, Chrysler Corporation, and others to divulge their commercial practices with respect to the distribution of duplicate title certificates, and thereby established a standard of care in the automobile industry.  I then showed that Ford had deviated from this standard and in so doing enabled a fraud to be perpetrated by a Ford dealer that cost my client a lot of money.

Digging to Find a Whistleblower:  In a product-liability case I recovered millions of dollars for the wrongful death of a man exposed to toxic fumes in a house fire originating in a television that imploded.  The major TV manufacturer denied that its product could or would implode.  But after days digging in the defendant's records repository I discovered the name of a former employee who had questioned the potential for implosion in a company memo.  I located the man, who became a whistleblower, and ultimately won the substantial settlement.
