“My clients appreciate that in addition to being a lawyer I hold degrees in Finance and International Business from NYU. This added background and training allows me to quickly grasp and understand the broader issues and challenges facing their business. I work to help them solve their business issues by taking a practical approach to the legal system.”

His cases have involved financial fraud, business and partnership disputes, foreclosures, real estate, and shareholders derivative actions.
“I’ve worked on a lot of our more complex financial fraud cases and I enjoy helping clients solve their business problems through the effective use of the legal system. There is a great sense of satisfaction in uncovering financial fraud and getting our clients the money they’re due.”
Fluent in French and a native of Europe, Philippe has an international clientele and frequently represents the interests of foreign investors, real estate developers, brokers, and businesses in South Florida. He also has experience with multi-country and multi-jurisdictional disputes.
From Philippe’s Case Files:
Exposing Broker Fraud: Commercial Litigation. Our client, a group of professional day-traders, retained us to sue a large securities broker for millions of dollars in overcharges. But we went a step further, demonstrating that the broker not only overcharged our client but also ruined their trading business group and engaged in a fraudulent scheme to hide their misdeeds, forcing the broker to settle for significant damages.
Fraud Charges Sunk: Commerical Litigation. When my client, the manufacturer of the Cigarette Racing Team speedboats, sold the company, the purchaser claimed the client had submitted fraudulent financial statements. But with the help of a forensic, I helped find evidence that the buyer had withheld key financial and other information from an arbitration panel—and collected a million-dollar promissory note for the client, as well as costs and legal fees.
